I am so excited to have signed a Single Song Agreement
for the songs off of “Light of the Morning” and “The Invitation.”
The publishing contract is with SundayBest Music out of Hendersonville,
Tennessee. This opens the door for a wider audience for my songs.
When I first started writing in 2002, I wasn’t sure what my goals were going to
be. Actually, I didn’t think much about what I was doing, I was just enjoying
every minute of sitting at the piano and writing. But after I’d written
thirty or more songs, I begin to wonder what to do with them. Record myself
or were they good enough to be recorded by someone else? I decided to go the
“record myself” route.
Now, three CDs later….my goals are changing again. I attended the Write
About Jesus workshop and from that wonderful experience, began to feel
that perhaps I was ready to wade into the waters of writing for other artists.
The songs that are published will now be placed in the SundayBest Music
Catalog for artists to look at when they are recording. I am so excited! I
also will continue to submit songs that I am currently writing for possible publishing.

I’m so excited about the new project that I just completed this summer in Nashville, Tennessee. I’ve been working on songs for a new CD for quite some time and was excited to finally make it into the studio to record them. It was great to work with Dave Clark again as producer. He is the best in the business and makes the whole recording process an experience you never forget. It was also good to work with Jason Webb (piano, keyboards) and John Hammond (drums, percussion) again as well as involve two new players…..Mark Baldwin (acoustic guitar, electric guitar) and Craig Nelson (bass).
The CD is titled “The Invitation” and my prayer is that every song will invite you to experience God in a new way!
